Augusta Wakes Up to Another Dead Body in the Streets

An Augusta man was found shot to death on Second Avenue early Saturday, the third such death here in just 15 days.

None of the cases has yielded an arrest.

Eugene Brown Jr., 23 (pictured at top), was found in the roadway at 3 a.m. Saturday on the 1900 block of Second Avenue, according to Coroner Mark Bowen.

“Brown died after being shot at least one time,” Bowen said.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:05 a.m. Saturday. He lived on the 2300 block of Franklin Street in Augusta.

Brown had three boys and one on the way, according to his brother.

Richmond County has witnessed a series of dead bodies in the street since Aug. 27, when Lawaun Jermaine Flourno (pictured at right) was found fatally shot on Dugas Street.

The coroner’s office said he was shot multiple times. He was 37.

Three days later, 29-year-old  Jeremy Clark (right picture, below) was found dead on Woodard Avenue, which is off Peach Orchard Road near Town & Country Shopping Center in Augusta.

The coroner said Clark had at least one gunshot wound.

In the Flournoy case, family members asked the killer to turn himself in.

“You took a person’s life and left him on the street like a dog,” said Joann McNair in a video posted on her Facebook page. “Can’t nobody explain this to us.”

Authorities have released little information on the three homicides or a possible cause. They have not connected the cases.

Editor’s Note: If you have a better photo of Eugene Brown Jr. or a memory to share, please text it to 803-487-3224.

Augusta Couple Speaks After Getting Hit by Car While Eating on Broad Street

An Augusta couple were struck by a car and injured while eating outside on Broad Street Saturday afternoon, and the driver of that wreck was cited for at-fault charges.

In an unrelated wreck, a 16-year-old driver was charged after a passenger was ejected in a Saturday night wreck on the I-520 East exit ramp, authorities said. (Details below)

In the downtown accident, a deputy responded at 1:25 p.m. Saturday to 594 Broad Street. An investigation revealed that 57-year-old Boyce Williams accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of brake pedal after doing an illegal U-Turn while trying to park. His vehicle jumped the curb and struck Joseph and Renee Howell, ages 67 and 58 respectfully. The couple are pictured above.

The couple were sitting at a table on the sidewalk in front of 594 Broad Street (Sports Center).

“Mr. Howell was pinned between the front of the vehicle and front exterior wall of 594 Broad Street.  Mrs. Howell was pinned under the vehicle,” a press release says.

Mr. Howell – who works as the Senior Deputy Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia – suffered a broken right leg and both of them were taken to the Augusta University Medical Center E. R. for treatment. Their condition was stable.

On Facebook, Renee Howell posted this picture with her dog Molly at the hospital Saturday night with this message:

“We were hit by a car while dining out doors in a restaurant on Broad Street. Car pinned us up against the front of the restaurant. Could have been a whole lot worse. After an ambulance ride to MCG – bruises and stitches. We are home and planning to go to my class reunion. Nothing keeping us down! Byw – Mollys stroller was totaled . She ran and was found unharmed at the Augusta Museum and returned safely due to her ID collar and a nice lady.”

Boyce Williams was cited for the at fault charges and he was also taken by Goldcross to the same hospital for private medical reasons.

In the I-520 wreck, no names or conditions were given in a press release. IN a short statement, authorities said the sheriff’s officer STAR team responded at 9:13 p.m. Saturday to an accident with serious injuries on the westbound exit ramp of I-520, Exit 1A-B and eastbound I-20.

“One passenger was ejected from the vehicle,” the press release says. “This was a single-vehicle accident and charges were made on a 16 year old driver of the vehicle.  STAR Investigators will conduct a follow up with the passengers in the hospital. Depending on their outcome, further charges maybe pending.”

Updated info: “16 year old was driving with 5 of her friends in the car. She has multiple charges including an Open Container, driving too fast for conditions and others. One passenger has skull damage.”

Augusta Man Gives FiancĂ©e’s Child a Black Eye & Blames School Bully

An Augusta man gave his fiancĂ©e’s 6-year-old son a black eye and then blamed the injury on a school bully, authorities said.

Harris Flesner allegedly threatened the boy if he told his mom, saying the victim wouldn’t get the video game he wanted. But an investigation showed that Flesner did much more than give a black eye to the child. He abused the boy.

According to a sheriff’s report, Flesner beat the 6-year-old and slammed him against a closet.

“He whooped me so many times
and then he hit me in the face with a pillow,” the boy told a deputy.

The boy suffered bruising to his back and shoulder, and he had a large bruise on his eye and cheek. Social services was notified.

Flesner, 32, of Carr Street, Augusta, was charged with two counts of cruelty to children. He remained in the Richmond County Jail on Sunday night under no bond. (He is pictured at right from his Facebook page.)

MORE DETAILS. The man’s fiancĂ©e lives in Lincolnton with the children. But she was attending a wedding rehearsal on Friday when she received a phone call from Flesner, who was watching her two sons, ages 6 and 4.

Flesner said her 6-year-old son had a black eye from school. He even sent her a text with a picture. The boy’s mother knew that was a lie because she had picked up her son from school and there was no sign of injury.

The woman left the rehearsal to pick up the children so they could go to a dinner party. When she picked them up, the 6-year-old son was acting very scared and was not talking while Flesner was around. So she asked her fiancé to go and get a diaper bag.

When Flesner was gone, the woman asked her son what happened. His lip began to tremble and he said if he told, “daddy would not get him the video game,” according to a sheriff’s report.

His mother told him it was OK to tell what happened. “Daddy whooped me,” the boy said. The younger son also spoke up, saying he saw Flesner whopping his older brother.

Deputies tracked down Flesner in Augusta and he was handcuffed in front of his mother and brother. Asked if he knew how the child got a back eye, Flesner said “some boy at school.” He also denied ever touching the boy or threatening to withhold the video game.

Flesner has several previous arrests on his record in Richmond County dating back over a decade, including marijuana possession, shoplifting and disorderly conduct. In 2010, he was charged with five counts of burglary, but the charges were all dismissed after four years on the docket and multiple times when Flesner had his bond revoked, according to jail records.

Augusta Burglar Killed by Homeowner in Middle of Night

An Augusta burglar was shot dead by the homeowner in the middle of the night Monday, authorities said.

Anthony James Lawson, 40, was shot at a residence on the 2400 block of Wrightsboro Road, Coroner Mark Bowen said.

“Lawson received at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:38 a.m.,” the coroner said. “Lawson was shot by the homeowner after breaking into the residence on Wrightsboro Road.”

Lawson is shown here from a 2011 mugshot for disorderly conduct. He was listed as homeless that year.

More importantly, he has a conviction from 2003 for reckless conduct by an HIV infected person. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison but served less than three years before his release.

Lawson also had convictions for theft by taking and public drunkenness.

Lawson’s body will be sent to the GBI Atlanta Lab for an autopsy sometime early part of this week, the coroner said.

The sheriff’s office is investigating, but they have not released details on the shooting or the homeowner.

Evans Man Known for Politeness is Stabbed to Death

An Evans man was stabbed to death by a man shortly after they left a convenience store late Sunday, according to Columbia County authorities.

Lenell White, 24, of Evans (pictured), has been charged with murder and weapon possession in the death of 60-year-old Lavon Crawford of Evans.

Three witnesses pulled up to Washington Road at Steeplechase Lane and saw the victim on the side of the road with White standing next to him. The suspect had blood on his hands and chin.

With so much blood, they thought there had been an accident. But there was no crash or car.

“Lenell White was transported to our Sub-Station and confessed to murdering Mr. Crawford,” sheriff’s Maj. Steve Morris said. “(The victim) was stabbed several times in the neck.”

The knife was apparently dumped 15 yards away in the woods, where deputies found it.

Maj. Morris said he was not sure about a motive. The suspect and victim were captured on video minutes before talking inside at a Circle K convenience store.

White is being held without bond.

The victim was already being remembered on Facebook by those who encountered him around town.

WGAC’s Austin Rhodes called Crawford a “neighborhood character” who was often seen walking up and down Washington Rd., stopping in to the Woodbridge Circle K for coffee, or a candy bar.

“He was friendly if you caught his eye, but many times he was busy in conversation
with himself. I was never sure where he was going, but he seemed always to be heading somewhere, with a lot on his mind,” Rhodes said.

Jessica Miskelly called the victim a “nice guy.”

“He would read the newspaper outside of Goolby’s on Sunday’s and hold the door open for people. He was so polite,” she said. “We would always see him walk down Washington Rd. We were leaving for vacation Friday and saw him at the Circle K drinking coffee while we got gas. We joked that ‘there’s our guy’. So very sad. We would see him so often that you feel like you knew him.”

Note: If you have a photo of Lavon Crawford, please text it to 803-487-3224 so we can honor him.

Richmond County Jail to Offer GED Program to Inmates

Richmond County Jail to Offer GED Program to Inmates

Recognizing the need to reduce the number of repeat offenders in the judicial system, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and Augusta Technical College are proud to announce the start of a General Education Development (GED) program at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

For more crime news, pick up this week’s edition of The Jail Report, sold in local gas stations for $1.50.

The goal of the GED program is to provide a quality education program to inmates and equip them with the competencies necessary to become productive, crime-free members of society.  The GED program is offered to inmates who possess neither a high school diploma nor a GED diploma.

Certified academic teachers from the Augusta Technical College’s Adult Education Department will provide mathematics, reading, language, and workforce readiness instruction to inmates with low academic skills.  Students’ academic levels will be assessed on a regular basis and inmates are afforded the opportunity to secure GED diplomas.

Studies have shown that inmates who participated in high school/GED programs had 30 percent lower odds of recidivating than those who had not and the odds of obtaining employment post release among inmates who participated in correctional education (either academic or vocational programs) was 13 percent higher than the odds for those who had not participated.

GED Preparation classes will be during the daytime hours at several locations throughout the Detention Center and classes will begin on September 19, 2016.

To achieve the GED diploma, the inmate must receive a passing score on each section of the GED test areas and minimal passing scores will be based on a total of 2250 points.  No individual test score may fall below 410 and they must have an average standard score of 450 in order to pass.

Inmates who score below 410 on any test must retake that test even if the total score for all five tests is 2250 or higher.  If these requirements are not met, a waiting period for retesting may apply based on the average score attained by the examinee.  Inmates who do not earn at least 2250 points and who desire to retake the test may do so once the waiting period expires or if the inmate enrolls in GED preparation classes, he/she may retest when the instructor certifies that they are ready to test again.

Upon successful completion of the GED test, the graduate will receive a GED diploma.

Augusta Woman Playing Pokémon Go is Threatened with Gun

Augusta Woman Playing Pokémon Go is Threatened with Gun

A black Augusta woman playing PokĂ©mon Go around her neighborhood pool says she was threatened with a gun by a white neighbor who told her “your kind is not welcome here,” authorities said.

That neighbor – 37-year-old Imad Ennafii – was arrested Friday for pointing and presenting a firearm at another person. But he claims the woman is lying and trying to make him into the “George Zimmerman” of the neighborhood.

“At no time did I have a gun with me,” Ennafii told The Jail Report. “I have a top secret clearance with Army, and this is going to mess me up and jeopardize my career. My neighbors are majority African-American. All the kids call me dad.
To me it was very disrespectful to make it racial.”

For more crime news, pick up this week’s copy of The Jail Report, sold in local gas stations for $1.50.

According to a sheriff’s report, 28-year-old Renee Cummings called for help Aug. 1 after she was confronted by Ennafii in their neighborhood on Huntcliffe Drive, a subdivision outside Fort Gordon.

She told deputies that her girlfriend dropped her off at the neighborhood pool so she could play Pokémon Go.

“She was approached by Ennafii and he stated to her that she was not welcomed in the neighborhood and that she needed to leave,” a sheriff’s report says. “Cummings said she advised Ennafii that she lived in the neighborhood. Cummings said Ennafii then pulled out a gun and pointed it to her head. Cummings said she immediately got away and called the Sheriff’s Office.”

Deputies arrived and found Ennafii to be highly intoxicated, the sheriff’s report says. He was slurring his speech and could not stand up straight.

“Ennafii advised me multiple time that he was drunk,” a deputy said in his report. “I advised Ennafii that if he thought a situation was suspicious that he needed to call the Sheriff’s Office and not approach the situation being intoxicated.”

Cummings was told she would have to personally press charges on the suspect. And she did, going to court and telling her story to a judge. Ennafii also appeared. The court appearance led to last week’s arrest on the misdemeanor charge.

In a phone interview, Ennafii said the woman’s story is completely false.

“I told her that she shouldn’t be in the pool area because it was 9 o’clock,” he said. “She told me you have no right to tell me what to do. I backed off. I made the call to 911. They didn’t find her.”

He said Cummings then called the sheriff’s office herself and lied about a gun. He said he had been at the pool and was wearing swim shorts that had no pockets to carry a gun.

Ennafii said the neighborhood has been having problems with young people vandalizing property, using the pool without permission, smoking weed and having sex in cars. He said the neighborhood HOA recently asked him to help with neighborhood watch, which is being finalized now. He was not on neighborhood watch when this happened.

The Morocco-born suspect is retired from the Army and has lived in Augusta for six years. He said that he was drinking but denies that he was drunk. He said he owns a gun, but it was on a table at his house, not in his pocket. Ennafii also says Cummings acted much nicer in court than she did on the night of the confrontation.

“The way she acted here was different than the way she acted to the judge,” he said. “She acted all innocent in court.”

The Jail Report reached out to Cummings, who agreed to tell her side but then hung up abruptly.

The victim lives in the neighborhood and reportedly works at Fort Gordon. Before she hung up, she said she was insulted by Ennafii saying she “fit the description” of people causing problems. She felt it was racial.

Augusta Mom Bursts Into Hornsby School & Threatens Daughter’s Classmate With Violence

An Augusta mother has been arrested after bursting into W.S. Hornsby Middle School in the middle of the school day and threatening her daughter’s classmate with harm, authorities said.

Abby Neal, 32, had received a cell phone call from her daughter during band class last Wednesday afternoon. The daughter was complaining about a classmate. Neal said she heard someone calling her daughter names so she rushed to the school.

What happened next depends on who was telling the story.

Band teacher Isiah Boone told school officers that Neal rushed into the class uninvited. She began yelling about a male student harassing her daughter. He said the mother began to threaten the student, saying her brother would “beat him up,” according to a school public safety report.

“Mr. Boone stated that during this whole incident, Ms. A. Neal was using profanity and he thought that she was going to go after the (student) right there in class,” the report says.

The teacher said he never saw Neal’s daughter and classmate having issues in class. Boone said he did see the daughter in class on her phone, without permission, while the classmate was beating on the drums.

However, Neal claimed that she talked to the band teacher from her daughter’s phone and Boone invited her to come to the school. She told officers that she got a pass from the front office and went to the band room, where she knocked on the door.

“Ms. A. Neal stated that Mr. Boone asked who she was and she told him, and she began to ask how he can allow students in his class to curse and carry on like that without doing anything,” a report says.

The mother claimed that a student came into the hallway and cursed her and she told him “to stay in a child’s f***ing place.” Neal said she got her daughter and went to the office.

Three students who were in the class told officers that Neal’s daughter had been arguing with the classmate about sitting next to each other. The teacher had asked them to sit next to each other. The students said Neal did burst into the bandroom and threatened the boy, saying that she would get her brother to beat him up.

“They also stated that she was going to report Mr. Boone to the Board of Education too,” the report says.

Eventually, public safety officers handcuffed Neal and took her to jail on charges of disrupting public schools, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

An Augusta woman has been arrested for operating an unlicensed care home, authorities said Wednesday.

Brenda Lee Nations, 57, of the 2500 block of Mt. Auburn Street, Augusta, had been warned repeatedly that she needed to become compliant with state law. So she was arrested for the misdemeanor charge, which becomes a felony if she gets a second conviction.

Several websites list Nations as owner of Fulcher-Nations Personal Care on Edgar Street in Augusta. Man Runs Over ‘Pray for Nation’ Signs in Augusta Yard

An Augusta visitor just seemed to snap when he saw two signs in a Tremont Way yard early Friday morning.

“You have my name on those signs in your yard,” Peter Seaborn yelled at the homeowner, Hurley Jones, after he drove his Toyota Tacoma through the man’s yard, crashing into concrete planters and geese decoys before hitting the side of the concrete driveway, breaking off a chunk of it.

Seaborn, of Grovetown, also crushed both of the offending yard signs that read “Pray for Our Nation.”

“He thought they said “Pray For Pete,” Jones said Monday night.

This is one of many crime stories in this week’s edition of The Jail Report, sold in local gas stations for $1.50.

Jones said he and his wife were getting ready to leave the house to go eat when he heard something and looked out the front window. By then Seaborn had driven off of his property and was parked up the block.

When Jones went to talk to him, Seaborn began to curse and swear at the man.

Call the “f****** police, mother f*****,” Seaborn screamed.

When a Richmond County Sheriff’s deputy arrived, Seaborn was sitting on the curb at the top of the street. He told the deputy that he was the one responsible for the damage.

But while an officer was talking to Jones, Seaborn suddenly drove off. He was found a short time later on Washington Road at the Mercedez-Benz dealership where Jones said he was making a ruckus, the report said.

And Jones’ “Pray for Our Nation” signs weren’t the only ones Seaborn got rid of. Jones said Seaborn stopped at a neighbor’s and pulled up one there.

Seaborn, 34, of the 600 block of Gay Drive, Grovetown, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree, the sheriff’s report said.

Jones said he was glad they were still home when Seaborn struck because they wouldn’t have any idea what had happened or who was responsible.

He admits he is still puzzled by the man’s actions.

“How can you rationalize something that’s not rational,” he said.

Aiken Driver Killed in Police Chase; 2 Passengers Injured

An Aiken man is dead and two passengers in critical condition after a high-speed chase with police at 4 in the morning Sunday, authorities said.

The driver, 27-year-old Andre Jackson Jr. (pictured), was not wearing a seat belt during the chase and struck a tree, killing him, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Darryl M. Ables. The collision occurred at 4:50 a.m. at the intersection of Chesterfield Street and Columbia Avenue.

“Jackson was the unrestrained driver of a 2005 Mitsubishi 4-door that was traveling at a high rate of speed and being pursued by Aiken Department of Public Safety officer’s when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree,” Ables said in a press release. “Two passengers in the vehicle were taken to Augusta University Medical Center in critical condition.”

The chase started in response to a residential burglary in which the homeowner gave a description of the vehicle, officers spotted this vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop, police said. The pursuit lasted less than a half-mile before the accident occurred.

His Sister Speaks. Jackson’s younger sister, Zaria Dixon, told The Jail Report that she is not sure why her brother didn’t stop for police, but she knows he wouldn’t have committed the burglary.

“He didn’t do that,” she said. “Anybody can describe a car.”

As for why he was up so early in the morning, Dixon said, “That is him. He always do that.”

Dixon said she learned of the terrible news on Facebook at 9 a.m. Sunday. She wanted the community to know that her brother was a great guy.

“He was helpful. He was charming. He wasn’t a troublemaker at all,” she said. “He loved everyone. He was loved by everyone. He loved his kids and would do anything for them. It’s just sad that he is gone.”

Zaria is pictured here (in hat) with Andre Jackson and two of their cousins several years ago.

Jackson reportedly has three children born to two different women, including a son who was born four months ago to his fiancé. He is a high school graduate and previously worked at a local grocery store as a bagger and stocker. He has five siblings, including Zaria Dixon.

“We so close and nobody could tear us apart,” Zaria said. “We have so many memories.
He always kept me laughing and taught me right from wrong. I always looked up to him. Now he’s looking down on me. I always told him everything and he told me everything, it’s hurting me so bad knowing that he’s not here and I don’t have nobody to turn to when I’m having problems. I love him so much and wish he was still here to guide me in the path that he started for me. He will always remain in my heart. There’s always a part of him that’s in me.”

Jackson was also remembered by friends and family on Facebook:

Marie Powell said: “Rip Andre Jackson. You were truly a genuine person. Prayers to other friends and especially his family. May God give you the peace and strength that you need.”

Arrested: Greenbrier Student Writes Bomb Threat on Bathroom Wall!

A Greenbrier High School student was arrested Monday for writing a bomb threat on the bathroom wall to get out of in-school suspension, authorities said.

Madelyn Blanche McAdams, 17, of Evans (pictured at right from her Facebook page), was charged with terroristic threats and acts with a bond set at $2,600.

A school resource officer was made aware of a threat written Friday inside a girl’s bathroom stall that said: “Stadium and School Go Boom at 12.”

According to sheriff’s Maj. Steve Morris, McAdams was one of many students around the area at the time. She was interviewed and confessed, saying she did it to get out of ISS, or in-school suspension.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release with the teen’s picture to warn other students what can happen by making bomb threats.

“The school had to be evacuated and cleared before students could resume their normal activities. So these things are intolerable,” Maj. Morris said. “They cost money as well as – and maybe more importantly – instruction time for the students. It’s just silliness and will never be tolerated.”

One positive thing for McAdams: She did get out of ISS. Instead, she was taken to the Columbia County Jail.

Murphy Village Mystery: Where is 15-Year-Old Girl & Her Baby?

A 15-year-old Irish Traveler and her 11-month-old daughter were missing when state officials went to Murphy Village to take custody of them last month, authorities said Tuesday,

That’s why the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating the two juveniles: Josie Mulholland and her child, Saylor Mulholland.

Sheriff’s officials are working with the S.C. Department of Social Services in investigating the well-being of the teenage mom and her child, who are now considered wards of the state.

They are asking anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the sheriff’s office at 803-648-6811 or contact any law enforcement agency in your area. You can also call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC (1-888-274-6372).

Sheriff’s Capt. Eric Abdullah said DSS officials went to the listed address Sept. 9 to take custody of the girl, but they were not there. After failing to find them, the sheriff’s office decided to reach out to the public for help.

Capt. Abdullah said he did not know the specific reason for DSS officials trying to take the children or whether it has to do with the recent federal case against several members of the Murphy Village community. He was also not sure if it had to do with the girl having a child so young. More information is expected to be released Wednesday.

A missing poster has this additional information: “Josie MULHOLLAND is Saylor’s mother and may also use the last name O’HARA. Josie and Saylor are missing from the Murphy Village area of Aiken County.”

Fired! ACSO Deputy Assaults Victim at Citizen’s Park in Aiken

Sheriff Michael Hunt fired one of his deputies Wednesday morning after learning that the officer assaulted a victim while off-duty at Citizen’s Park in Aiken.

For more crime news, pick up this week’s new edition of The Jail Report, sold in local gas stations for $1.50.

The assault by Deputy Joshua Mathis allegedly occurred around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night during a baseball game for 13-14 year old boys.

Witnesses tell The Jail Report that the officer was off-duty when he got into an argument with an older man and pushed the man, causing the victim to suffer cuts to his elbows from falling to the ground. An ambulance was called to the field.

“(The deputy) had an opportunity to de-escalate the situation and he didn’t,” the witness told us.

Aiken Public Safety officers investigated and arrested Mathis for assault & battery in the third degree. A second individual was also arrested, according to an ACSO press release. That name was not immediately available, and an incident report regarding the fight was expected to be released later Wednesday.

“Upon Mathis’ arrest, his employment with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office was terminated,” the ACSO press release says. “Mathis was employed with this agency since June 2010 until his termination.”

The press release includes this statement from Sheriff Michael Hunt: “We hold our employees accountable for their actions on duty and off duty. This type of behavior will not be tolerated.”

Augusta Boy, 13, Killed as Friends Play with Gun

A 13-year-old Augusta boy was accidentally shot and killed by a gun Friday that he and some friends were playing with, authorities said.

Michael Caleb McNatt (pictured) was shot at a home on Dove Roven Road in Augusta, Coroner Mark Bowen said. A call for help was made at 4:21 p.m. Friday and first responders found McNatt had been shot.

The teen was rushed to Augusta University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m., the coroner said. McNatt did not live at the home. He lived on Alden Drive.

Sheriff’s Lt. Allan Rollins said the shooting was a result of several young people playing with a gun and the gun firing accidentally. No charges have been filed.

“It was not a homicide,” Lt. Rollins said. “It was kids playing with a gun. These were friends. They were like 12 and 13 years old. All of them were doing it. but only one of them had (the gun) at the moment (that it fired).”

An autopsy is planned.

Note: If you have a better photo of Michael McNatt or a memory to share, please text it to 803-487-3224.
