A police officer caught an underage girl having car sex with an older teen last weekend outside North Augusta High School, according to a police report.

The girl, 15, confessed that she just met the 19-year-old teen online and wanted to have sex with him. A public safety report spells out the details of what happened when police Cpl. Louis Cook found the teens half-naked at 1:45 a.m. Sunday:

jail_rptprisonersbooked1.frxThe blue Chevrolet Impala was parked behind a school bus and the woodbine in a gravel parking lot next to North Augusta High School. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Davion Turner of Laurens, attempted to start the car when he saw the patrol car approaching, a report says.

Cpl. Cook called for additional officers and he joined two officers in approaching the car. By this time, Turner was in the driver’s seat and the girl was in the back seat with her bra off. A used condom along with clothes were lying on the floorboard, a report says.

Turner told police that he met the North Augusta girl through mutual friends on Instagram and had talked with her for only a month. Their sexual encounter Sunday was the first time they met, he said.

Turner (shown at right from Facebook) claimed the girl called him and told him to come to North Augusta because “she was having some issues with her parents and people at school,” the report says.

Davion Turner FacebookSo Turner drove from Laurens in the middle of the night, picked up the girl and drove her to the school parking lot. That’s where talking changed to kissing, and then the girl took off her shirt and bra, the report says.

“The subject stated he did feel uneasy about the encounter and stopped it but not before touching her … ,” the report says.

When police interviewed the girl, she confessed that she wanted to have sex with Turner and called him to meet her.  She said they messed around but Turner did not have sex with her.

Police called the girl’s mother, who took the girl to the hospital for a physical evaluation, the report says.

Davion InstagramTurner was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third-degree and booked into the Aiken County Jail.

The teen has since been released and has already begun posting more photos on his Instagram account (right), including one with him and friends attending the USC-LSU basketball game this week.

This was not Turner’s first arrest. He was arrested Oct. 13 for allegedly bringing a BB pistol onto campus at Laurens High School. A police report says he and a LHS student allegedly shot at a football player’s vehicle in the parking lot and caused a back window to shatter. A charge of “weapon possession on school property” is pending in that case.

Pierce Thompkins, 49, was arrested Feb. 12 after the nurse complained to police with MCG, which is now called Augusta University Medical Center. He was charged with sexual battery in the case.

While the suspect was arrested Feb. 12, the incident occurred a month before on Jan. 14. The report describes a distraught nurse who had gone in to take blood from Thompkins’ mother. The suspect was laying on a couch in the patient room.

“While she was focusing on the patient, Thompkins placed his hand in the divide of her buttock and chuckled,” the report says.

The 50-year-old nurse told officers that she struck the man’s hand away and told him not to touch her like that again.

The suspect was confronted by officers, who said it he accidentally touched her with his elbow when he was moving around, the report says. He said he apologized to the nurse and she continued to work without any issues.

The nurse was told about how to obtain a warrant, and she did.

Editor’s Note: Augusta University police denied The Jail Report’s request for the sexual battery report without explanation, forcing our staff to file an open records request with the university’s Legal Services Division. In a phone call with our reporter, LSD Coordinator Denise Webster said she would take every day allowed by law before releasing the report, and she did, releasing it though her office at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Marquist FullerMarquist Fuller, 20 (pictured), was pronounced dead at 10:24 p.m. Friday night at the Augusta University Medical Center.

The shooting made news all day Friday after reports that a man was shot at 1 p.m. at a residence in Clearwater. Video: Augusta Uber Driver Assaulted by Drunk Passenger

An Uber driver from Augusta was assaulted by a drunk passenger early Saturday in an altercation caught on dash cam video, authorities said.

James Jimmy VautawVideo: https://youtu.be/7BcvTjECLjw

James Vautaw, 43, of Martinez (pictured in orange jump suit), was charged with simple battery in the assault on driver Matthew Johnson of Augusta. He was booked into the Columbia County Jail.

The driver went to Bar West on Walton Way Extension around 3 a.m. Saturday to pick up Vautaw. A woman approached and told Johnson that she was paying Uber to take the boozer home. It took friends 15 minutes to get the passenger in the car because of his level of intoxication. The suspect’s friend, Anne Beckman, also rode in the car.

Matthew JohnsonThe driver (pictured at right) told authorities that Vautaw was cursing the entire trip to Martinez. Once he arrived, Vautaw struck the driver in the head multiple times, yelling at his friend to run.

“F** this guy!” Vautaw said as he continued pounding the man.

The suspect got out and tried to pull Johnson out of the driver’s seat and Johnson maced the man in self-defense. Johnson was finally able to get back in his vehicle to notify the sheriff’s office, but not before Vautaw struck the driver-side window of the white 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, a sheriff’s report says.

In an interview with The Jail Report, Johnson said he installed dash cam video because of another assault a few months ago that Aiken County authorities didn’t take seriously.

In this case, he is unsure why the man assaulted him, but he has his two guesses. He said the man might have been jealous because girls were talking to him at the bar when he pulled up. He also wonders if Vautaw is a Donald Trump supporter who saw Johnson as anti-government.

“When he did get into the car, the first thing that came out of his mouth – except the cursing and threats – was talking about the government. He said I worked for the government. He just wasn’t making sense,” Johnson said. “He’s probably a Trump supporter. Trump’s big on government fear.”

A sheriff’s report says Vautaw works at Fort Gordon as a contractor.

Johnson said he suffered a cut on the side of his eye but he refused medical treatment. He called The Jail Report because he wants justice in the case and to warn other Uber drivers. Johnson has reportedly driven over 3,000 times.

“I am warning drivers, this could happen,” he said. “And I am letting passengers know this is not acceptable.”

Uber is a transportation network company that allows users all over the world to request private car transportation within minutes, through their smarthphone app.

An Appling man has not been charged after killing his 23-year-old stepson early Thursday during a domestic dispute at their home, authorities said.

MILAMTennis Alexander Milam, 23 (pictured), was armed with a gun at 1:38 a.m. Thursday when he confronted his stepfather about calling 911, and the stepfather pulled his own gun and shot Milam, authorities said.

The stepfather, 46-year-old Anthony Thomas Sherrill, told deputies that he had called 911 because his stepson was in a heated argument with his girlfriend and wouldn’t calm down.

“He was involved in an argument with his girlfriend,” sheriff’s Capt. Butch Askew said. “He was involved in an argument with her that was getting really heated, and the mother tried to intervene and calm them down. His stepfather was in the bedroom the entire time. He called 911 and had armed himself with handgun.”

When Milam found out his stepdad had call 911, he confronted him, and Sherrill shot the young man at the home they share at 5196 North Tubman Road in Appling.

Investigators are continuing their investigation. “But there doesn’t look like at this time there will be any charges filed,” Capt. Askew said.

Dispatchers heard three shots over the phone, according to a sheriff’s report. Milam was found lying on the floor near the front door when deputies arrived. The coroner was then called.

Milam, 23, appeared in The Jail Report last month on a charge of theft by deception in Richmond County. The theft had allegedly occurred last June but he was not arrested until Feb. 20.

coupleAuthorities say Milam has a history of domestic disputes with his girlfriend, Amanda Whisenhunt (pictured with him). Last October, a clerk at the Fuel Express in Grovetown saw Milam assaulting his girlfriend while parked at a gas pump, a sheriff’s report says.

A deputy found the woman with redness around her neck and a scratch on her hand. She told authorities that Milam had punched the window on the white Nissan SUV in a rage. In that case, deputies cited Milam for disorderly conduct.

Milam is the grandson of prominent Augusta businessman L.D. Waters.

ESTRAD ADRIANMembers of the Steel Horsemen Motorcycle gang violently assaulted a biker outside an Augusta bar for hanging out on their turf and wearing the wrong patch, according to authorities.

Adrian Estrada, 43, of Augusta (top photo), and Frederick James “Boogie Man” King Jr., 5o, of Loganville, Ga.(bottom photo, white shirt), were each charged with aggravated battery and unlawful street gang activity in the Feb. 20 assault at the Silver Bullet Lounge on Milledgeville Road.

KING FREDERICKThe bikers are accused of “seriously disfiguring” the face of biker Meisam Shodia by punching him. They also kicked him until he dropped to the ground, where Estrada allegedly kicked the victim in the face with motorcycle boots, according to warrants. Shodia suffered a fractured eye, two cracked teeth, a swollen eye and bruising to the forehead, nose and cheek.

And why did the bikers attack the man? Because he was wearing a Loners Motorcycle Club patch only.

According to a warrant, Estrada is the leader of the Steel Horsemen gang and had previously warned the victim that he could not wear his “Loners” motorcycle club patch without also wearing a “Support Your Local Horsemen patch”.

“Gang members also advised the victim that he did not have permission to wear the vest he was wearing; and that he was on Steel Horsemen turf. The victim was also told that he would be ‘f***ed up’ and that he had taken the wrong route,” the warrant says.

An incident reported filed by the Blythe Police Department says several members of the biker gang were involved in the assault. A witness said he overheard the bikers telling Shodia to “take that f***ing vest off.” Also, the bikers jumped on the motorcycles and fled when deputies responded to a call.

Estrada and King were arrested on warrants on Thursday and remained in the Richmond County Jail on Friday.

According to warrants, the Steel Horsemen Motorcycle Club is classified as a street gang by the FBI.

Estrada owns The Loft on Broad Street in Augusta, according to a report by The Augusta Chronicle.

A Facebook photo shows Murray in December posing with his girlfriend and her three children during happier times. It’s not clear where the mother was at the time of the beating.
