An Augusta woman was arrested Friday for allowing her 11-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son to beat up another kid in a street fight back in March.
Not only did Candice McCullough not do anything to stop fight which happened on Williams Drive on the afternoon of March 10, she stood there and watched, a Richmond County Sheriff’s report said.

The victim in the fight said that as she and her brother were riding their bikes home from Southside Elementary that afternoon they were confronted by three kids about a previous incident that had happened at school. The girl told the responding deputy that the mother of two of the kids was there.
The deputy tracked down McCullough to her Moore Road home. She said that her son and daughter had had trouble with the victim and she didn’t think it was a problem to allow children to fight out a conflict they’ve been unable to resolved, the report said.
She was advised at the time that she could be arrested for letting her children fight and on Friday she was.
McCullough, 33, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the report said.
