A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the July shooting death of 19-year-old Elijah Oliver at The Pointe at Augusta.
Marvin Alexander Hall Jr., 20, was captured Monday at a residence on Bungalow Road, arrested by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office with the help of the Southeastern United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Hall is charged with malice murder, felony murder and weapon possession in Oliver’s death.
Earlier this year, authorities announced the arrests of three others in the killing, including Nasceir Damiano Mitchell, 18; Devin Anthony Garnett, 19, and Terrell Miller, 16.
Warrants say that the suspects were engaged in a shootout July 20 when the crossfire caused the victim to sustain a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Oliver was rushed to Wellstar MCH Health, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident unfolded shortly before 12:46 a.m. July 20 on the 2400 block of Acapulco Drive.
